Natural Feeding

At the Alternative Veterinary Medicine Centre, we believe that the best platform upon which we can build health is a natural diet, suited to the evolved needs of each species and consisting of the best quality fresh ingredients. The AVMC advocates a policy of  freshness, variety and moderation.

The modern 'convenience foods' fed to our animals, as a result of aggressive and emotive marketing are a sell-out to convenience and a danger to health. Horses, dogs and cats are the worst affected.

If it were logical and advisable to feed such highly-processed and artificial foods to our dogs and cats, it would be just as logical to eat the same way ourselves. If it is unwise to feed ourselves in that way, it is just as unwise to feed animals in that way.

As the pinnacle of input, we advocate organic foods.
