At the Alternative Veterinary Medicine Centre, we deliver holistic veterinary medicine, in a relaxed and homely environment.  

The therapies used include veterinary homeopathy, veterinary acupuncture, veterinary herbal medicine, chiropractic manipulation and natural feeding. These are different branches of Complementary and Alternative Veterinary Medicine (CAVM), which we carefully integrate to best advantage of the patient.  

We treat all species, including horses, ponies, cats, dogs, cattle, pigs, sheep, buffalo, donkeys, goats, llamas and other camelids, poultry, domestic fowl, waterfowl, cage birds, raptors (birds of prey), reptiles and fish. Wherever appropriate, each patient is offered, as a matter of course, chiropractic manipulation and dietary advice for natural feeding.  

We see dogs, cats and other small animals at the premises and we visit larger patients, such as horses, ponies, donkeys and farm animals. However equine patients can come to us at the AVMC (although the planners disallowed specialist facilities, so we use the hospitality of a local holistic and organic livery establishment) and we do visit dogs and cats, where desired.
